A very interesting bike that is moving into the future, bringing disc brakes to road bikes. Pictured below it is the Pinarello Dogma 65.1, an all carbon, asymmetrical bike that actually features a frightening amount of tech and R&D in its pricetag. Price, that is after all the entire reason for this post, and these two don’t disappoint (but actually they do) with the Dogma 65.1 tagging in at a staggering $13,200. I always knew that I would never ride one, however when I discovered that the C59 Disc retailed at an eye watering $15,300. Fifteen thousand three hundred dollars. It might only be 2 years old, but a helluva lot has changed in those 2 years. As the haircut suggests this was before I left for the Navy, and subsequently got sent home. Funny enough is how prominent my back is in this photograph, which was the reason I was sent home (minor scoli). Finally, this was taken by someone who I was very very close with.
